World Language Honor Society

 

Sociedad Honoriaria Hispánica

Our Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica was formed in the 2006 spring semester with 16 members being inducted.  Current Spanish IV, V and VI students who have maintained an honor average of 3.5 for at least three semesters in Spanish and who have at least an overall 3.0 cumulative G.P.A. are eligible to apply. Activities include community service and Hispanic cultural events.  We are proud to honor our Spanish Honor Society members for their accomplishments.

Société Honoraire de Français

West Allis Central High School was awarded a charter chapter of the National French Honor Society in February of 2005.  To qualify for honor society membership, a student must achieve a 3.5 average in French for three high school semesters and have an overall GPA of at least 3.0. Sixty seven Central High School French Students have been inducted into our French Honor Society since its inception.  We are pleased to honor our talented students for their achievement and interest in the French language with membership into this prestigious organization!

Deutsche Ehrenverbindung

West Allis Central High School was awarded a charter chapter of the National German Honor Society Delta Epsilon Phi in December of 2004.  To qualify for honor society membership, a student must achieve a 3.6 average in German for three semesters and have an overall G.P.A. of atleast 3.0. We induct new members and honor returning members at our annual induction ceremony in spring.  It is exciting to have the opportunity to recognize our outstanding German students for their hard work and interest in the German language and culture!
